事师五十颂 50 Rules In Serving One’s Guru

Screen capture on 12 October 2014 at 12:06 Singapore Time. 事师五十颂 http://www.ptz.cc/page/show/show1.aspx?magID=704 《事师五十颂》是由马鸣菩萨根据佛经及过去大善知识们的论典,将其中依止、承事上师的诸种内义,集合起来而著成的。马鸣(梵文 Aśvaghosa)菩萨,约为公元一世纪的人,中印度舍卫国娑枳多城人,出身婆罗门家族,博学善辩。曾与印度长老胁尊者对论,深受折服,于是皈投尊者座下。出家后的马鸣,深研佛法,博通三藏,到处弘法化众,极受国王器重。此外,他也感化了月氏国王迦腻色迦,带领臣民皈依向佛。迦腻色迦王为了使大众能了解马鸣的辩才与智慧,更为引导大众体悟佛理,就召集所有沙门外道,礼请马鸣升座说法,会中同时有七匹已经饿了六天的马随众闻法。马鸣说法后,大众皆闻法悟道,连这些马都感动地嘶鸣,于是臣民心生感佩,景仰马鸣的高德懿行。由于群马受到感化的奇迹异象,因此世人就尊称他为“马鸣菩萨”。 藏地雪域格鲁派的一代宗师、文殊菩萨化身的宗喀巴大师曾专门造《事师五十颂释》,对依止上师的方法作了深入浅出的阐述。 《事师五十颂》,顾名思义,就是如何依止上师,在上师面前如何行为的一个准则。它虽然是只集成了五十个颂词,但是所包含的内容却是所有善知识们的言教之中的精华。 《事师五十颂》的五十个颂词分别介绍了诸佛是如何成佛的、我们应该如何观察金刚上师、金刚上师需要具足的法相是什么、作为弟子应该具足什么样的法相、弟子应该如何依止上师,直到最后如何解脱和成佛。 一切佛经、续部、论典中从来没有提过不依止上师而成佛的历史。无论进入哪一乘,最初了知依止上师的方式都是至关重要的。尤其是诸多续部中都极为郑重地强调了金刚乘的所有悉地均由依止上师而成。所以说,诸道的根本即是依止上师的方式。《金刚藏庄严续》中云:“是故一切诸方便,金刚持师最殊胜,随顺上师令生喜,上师欢喜诸佛喜。” ~~~~~~~~~ http://www.baike.com/wiki/%E4%BA%8B%E5%B8%88%E4%BA%94%E5%8D%81%E9%A2%82%E9%87%8A 此《事师五十颂释》是藏地雪域格鲁派的一代宗师、文殊菩萨化身的宗喀巴大师所造,其中对依止上师的方法作了深入浅出的阐述。 凡是入佛门的人首先就是要寻访一位名师,这说明人们已深刻地认识到上师对于修学菩提正道的佛教徒来说不可或缺的先决条件。能被一位尽善尽美的上师摄受,速得成就是修行人无不朝思暮想、梦寐以求的心愿。 藏传佛教的各宗各派均十分重视依止上师,按照格鲁派的传统,一般来说,上师在传法灌顶之前要传讲《上师五十颂》使弟子了解师徒之间的利害关系,以免有后顾之忧。宁玛派及其余宗派也将依止上师放在首要位置。 依止上师不只是藏传佛教特有的宗风,对于汉传佛教的学人同样重要。诸多佛经续中口径一致地强调:依止上师是成就的根本。如经中云:“当知胜义俱生智,唯一积资净罪障,具证上师之加持,依止他法诚愚痴。”所以,在依止上师这一点上,无有显密、宗派的差别。 在邪师恶师遍满大地的当今时代,许多人冒充善知识、上师来欺骗、坑害众生。以致于令那些头脑简单、是非不辨的佛教徒上当受骗。真正详细观察上师、如理如法依止上师的人实在少得可怜。由此可见,让更多的人学习掌握此《事师五十颂释》大有必要。此部论典虽然在海内外有许多译本,但是有的词意过古,令人百思不得其解,有的与藏文原义略有出入。故而我今依据甘肃民族出版社出版的《宗喀巴大师文集》中的版本将此论翻译成汉文。 对于总的佛弟子,尤其是密宗的修行者,首先观察上师,得法以后应当依照此论中如说的方式,以一颗虔诚清净的信心如理如法依止,以求上师的无上意传加持融入相续,最终获得虹身成就。 ~~~~~~~~~~~ GM pointed out the importance of students abiding the [50 rules in serving one’s guru].
